About the Event
Volunteer Opportunities
We're looking for selfless and compassionate volunteers to share this amazing experience with our participants. Water awareness and knowing how to surf is a plus, but absolutely not needed to be a part of this program. We ask that volunteers are 15 and older, unless accompanied by an adult.
Water Volunteers: Anyone may sign up to be in the water as a lead surfer, board catcher, pusher, or on the safety team. Volunteers in this category must be diligent and aware of all surfers and their surroundings in the water, as safety is our biggest priority. Our surf teams consist of 1 lead surfer and possibly 1 assistant to help push and catch the board and its rider. First time and novice volunteers will be placed on a team with experienced surfers.
