Galveston Surf Camp For Youth September 20th & 21st

Waves of Impact is sponsoring a free surf camp for children with special challenges on the beach in Galveston, September 20th and 21st. The camps will run from 10:00am-4:00pm each day. All equipment is provided. However, if your child has a wetsuit or life jacket, please bring it.

We'll be at Porretto Beach, located at 10th St & Sewall, on the sand. Porretto Beach is a historically private owned beach in Galveston Texas for more than 70 years, and offers parking, chairs & umbrellas, and a reserved space for our children to surf safely. 

Space is limited. Each special surfer will need a ticket (free). Please only select one day so more children have an opportunity to participate. We will try to accommodate siblings at this camp the best we can, but with limited space we will have to assess the situation on the beach at the event.

Each surfer will be assigned a surf time and will receive more info about the event the week of the event.

If two children in the family are special surfers, please sign up for two tickets.  Please do not sign up for multiple days as this takes away space from another camper.

Must be a parent or guardian to register. Also parent or legal guardian must be at the surf camp with their child.
