About the Event
Waves of Impact is sponsoring a free surf camp for children, ages 3-21, with special challenges on the beach in Galveston, September 18th & 19th. The camps will run from 10:00am-4:00pm each day. All equipment is provided. However, if your child has a wetsuit or life jacket, please bring it.
We'll be at Porretto Beach, located at 10th St & Sewall, on the sand. Porretto Beach is a historically private owned beach in Galveston Texas for more than 70 years, and offers parking, chairs & umbrellas, and a reserved space for our children to surf safely.
Space is limited. Each special surfer will need a ticket (free). Please only select ONE day so more children have an opportunity to participate. We will try to accommodate siblings at this camp the best we can, but with limited space we will have to assess the situation on the beach at the event.
Tickets
Galveston Surf Camp Sept. 18th
You only need one ticket per child with a disability. If a brother or sister has a disability, you will need a separate ticket for them as well. Other family members will not need tickets, and we will do our best to get siblings in the water too.

Galveston Waitlist Sept. 2026
This is a WAITLIST ticket. This does NOT guarantee a specific day or surf time for your child. This is to reserve your child's name on the waitlist once all tickets have already been sold. If space becomes available, we will contact the registrants in the order they are received.
