Surf Camps For Kids With Special Challenges

Nathaniel raises his arms in triumph

There aren’t a lot of organized activities for kids the special challenges. They might not enjoy playing on a little league team or joining a soccer club but they sure do have fun riding waves in the ocean. The sense of the freedom the kids get, not just from surfing, but jumping the waves, floating on a boogey board, digging in the sand, and other beach fun is amazing.

If you browse through some of our photo albums you’ll see a lot smiles – on the kids, Moms, Dads and especially on the faces of our terrific volunteers.

Waves of Impact holds free surf camps in California and Texas. In 2013, we’re hoping to add additional states to this list.

Our surf camps are free. They are available on a first come, first served basis. We try and accommodate as many families

as we possibly can but sometimes we’re unable to accommodate everyone.

Please have patience with us. More locations and dates are on  the horizon.

If you have a child with special challenges we’d love to have you and your family at one of our surf camps. Please check our Dates and Events page for our 2013 schedule.
